While the book is cute - it arrived with the binding bent and mangled. It was originally going to be a gift - it went into a pile of books headed for a preschool. I wish it had been mailed in at least a padded envelope.
There are not very many fun books about Thanksgiving, and while the story line is really basic, the illustrations made me smile.

I have a 10 month old and I bought this book for her at Thanksgiving. She absolutely loves it!! She won't sit still for the entirety of any other book but this one. The silliness, the colorful pictures and the repetitiveness of "Gobble, Gobble, Wibble Wobble" is what she seems to like the most. I just wish it came in a board book form-she has already torn the book apart but we can at least still read it!Book Review: Best Turkey countdown book out there!!

My daughter and I enjoy this book very much. The pictures are great, colorful and interesting. The rhyming text and tempo is outstanding. The "GOBBLE GOBBLE WIBBLE WOBBLE" is fantastic!
Just shared this book with my daughter's kindergarten class and they LOVED it! As I was reading, students counted down the turkeys with me, and everyone joined in on the "gobble gobble" chorus. When I was finished, several students requested to "borrow" it! My daughter said, "please say NO, Mommy!"
I would recommend this book for anyone looking for some fun reading time with their beginning readers (from birth 'til they're reading it themselves)!

This cute book counts down the 10 fat turkeys-great for the holidays. One by one, each turkey leaves the fence in a creative way. This book is good for the pre-schooler learning to count or learning the concept of subtraction. The illustrations are great! The turkeys looks as if they have their own personalities, and their facial expressions are adorable. Great buy!
