Book Review: CD jpg image files lack sufficient detail for even fair usability

The selected paintings in this publication are quite lovely. Too bad the CD includes such low resolutions of them. And most illustrations in the book, which take, on average, 1/2 page each, are average to low in their resolution. Since the file images on the accompanying CD are no better, why bother? Hard to say - just to see their selection? Enlarging them to, even, A4 or standard copy sheet size is to ruin them. Editing them is next to impossible, even with a decent editing program, due to low resolution and sharpness. Sorry, folks: to my mind, this was an unfortunate purchase. I would need at least clean crisp full-page photos of the original paintings in order to make proper patterns or modifications I could use in my drawings, paintings or quilt work - or, alternatively: a CD with larger file sizes, which is surely technically possible, too.
