Book Review: Quite varied pieces by an up and coming composer...
Summary: 3 Stars
When Deborah Voigt becomes an advocate of your work, it only follows that those pieces gain attention and publishing viability. In this case, 8 of the 14 pieces in the collection were recorded on "All My Heart." I will review each piece in the collection to give the purchaser a feel for difficulty and value of the compositions. If the "filler" pieces had been replaced by songs of more worth, I would have given it a higher rating, but 4 of the 14 are simply not good, and about half of the remaining pieces offer significant pedagogical difficulties for either the singer or pianist.
