Book Review: A long way to success

Yes it has a LOT of listings, but the web has even more - an endless supply of sources where images can be submitted and put up for sale.
If you want to take the long way to begin selling, get this book and follow its advice to cold call agencies and send porfolios. But, if you want the shortcut, just put your work out there on the web. You will get a lot more exposure on online stock photo agencies like shutterpoint and such. Get the buyers to come to you instead of trying to push your work to them.
The book is a useful resource for serious beginning photographers, but there are more effective ways to start your photo business and get returns on your photos right away.
