Book Review: what a load of rubbish!!!

Well ordered this book expecting it to be of some use to those of us who cannot cook, or rather complete amateurs, the recipes are not what you would call exciting, for instance, Gumbo-Joe Hot Sandwich Filling, chicken gumbo soup mixed with minced beef and red sauce, totally American and totally rubbish, almost all the recipes are just tinned soup as a base and mixed with what ever else, meat or vegetables.
I don't expect to pay for recipes like that, and yes my rant continues who the hell wants to make tea in there slow cooker???? Lemon-Mint Tea, put in cold water then add lemon flavoured tea bags and chamomile teabags plus fresh mint and heat for TWO HOURS, what's wrong with using the kettle and having it in 5 minutes, am I missing something here...
Oh and by the way NO PICTURES, sorry but I do like to see what I am supposed to be making, but with the rubbish in this book it's a wonder that they left out the photos.
So no would not recommend, I guess you may all have gathered that by now.
