Book Review: The most amazing and exciting art book for children ever!

This book is the best Art book for children, I have ever come across, and as an Art teacher I have seen a fair few! It cleverly combines the looking and learning with that other most important ingredient which is "doing!" Every page is an exploration of different ideas and projects, but where this book differs is that it actually provides the means to create the final pieces of artwork. From painting to embossing and from weaving to collaging, it is all there. For example you can turn the fancy copper cover into an Egyptian armband! With the help of The Metropolitan Museum of New York, this book creates a launchpad for all aspiring artists regardless of experience or talent! It would appeal to all ages, in fact I bought one for my 15 year old and as soon as I saw it I knew that I would have to buy another one for my 9 year old! Rarely does a book come along that inspires and excites the way this one does. The publishers Kluntz are to be congratulated on creating such an imaginative and ground breaking format. It could almost be classed as performance art in itself! The most perfect gift of all time.
