Book Reviews of A Child Is BornBook Review: AMAZING! Summary: 5 Stars
Beautiful pictures, this book is a treasure and I will hold on to it for generations.
As I was pregnant, my family enjoyed peeking into the "womb" and watching the growth of a baby.
It is a wonderful book.
Book Review: Amazing Summary: 5 Stars
Got both, hardcover and this one, this one is a bit limited, but great. It's also more of a story, while the hard cover is more images.
Book Review: Awesome book and reviewers are wrong about it being of aborted fetus! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this book and yes I am going to share it with my girls. It is perfect for showing them where babies come from. I would like to add that these are not pictures of aborted babies that is crap! Some people believe everything the religious right tells them. Enjoy this book if you choose to buy it. You will not be sorry!!
Book Review: Awesome! Summary: 5 Stars
I am a big fan of this book. I am now on my 6th pregnancy and enjoying it once again. Now while I have to agree that some of the pictures in the very begining of the book are not necessary, the rest of the pictures are of a very natural and beautiful experience. I agree that it is entirely possible to labor with half of your body covered as I do, but the fact that these women are not covered if it bothers you then tape some paper over the few nude parts and enjoy the wonderful capture of life as God has given it. As far as being against Lennart Nilsson because he captured these pictures before the child was aborted, keep in mind that he nothing to do with the decisions to abort, I did my research too. I am completely against abortion!, but he has been able to capture a part of life not just a ball of cells like many used to think a baby was. Remember that the heart starts beating at 21 days! I strongly reccomend this book to any new parent, I even share it with my young children to help them understand about the pregnancy. I have covered up some of the pictures that are too grafic for them of course. Tape the nudies and enjoy the rest of the great info and beautiful pictures. Happy mama of 6 blessings. Just to pose one question if it isn't a living being starting with cell division then how is it growing? Life begins at conception.
Book Review: Best Book! Summary: 5 Stars
This was my first purchase since I found out that I am pregnant and I am really enjoying it. The pictures are amazing and I love to see the changes of the baby week by week.
I have recommended this book to all my pregnant friends.
