Book Review: LOVE THIS BOOK

This book is a must for to-be parents. I can't tell how many times I've looked throught the pictures. Both my husband and I were amazed at the quality and details in the pictures. I really loved this book and so did my sisters. (age's 6 and 12)Some of the pictures at the end where a little too "graphic" for them but over all nothing X rated and they really want for my mom to have a baby now. ;-)Book Review: Not quite what I had hoped

We purchased this book because our OB office had given us a magazine that had the pictures in it from the book. The pictures are incredible - there is no doubt however a lot of time is spent on the pre-conception and actual birth and less than I'd like to see on the fetal development. I don't really feel that I need to see a heat photograph of a man & woman in foreplay - I am pregnant - pretty sure I know how it happened :-)
The fetal development is amazing to see but some pictures & information jumps over a 5 week span. I purchased the book since this is our second child - I was more interested in this than the typical - what to expect pregnancy books - so am slightly disappointed to have to wait another month at least before I can see another picture that is relevant to where I am in pregnancy. Also the information is written, I imagine, with European prenatal recommedations, so some is just not accurate (ie: - assuming that the 1st doctors appointment happens after the 1st trimester).
Overall it's a nice book - not quite what i had hoped, but well worth purchasing for the price here on amazon.
Either way I like the book, but the labor pictures are pretty graphic - and most of the women are completely naked.
Book Review: Pictures are Absolutely Breathtaking!

This book has the most amazing pictures of conception and delivery. No other can compare when it comes to detail. It takes you step by step of every stage between conception and delivery. A very in depth detailed book. The only thing that bothered me was the many references to "we came from nothing" or "our ancestors were apes". How could you read the amazing information of the miracle of conception, and look at all those beautiful pictures and deny a God of perfect creation? Still, I am able to read it and enjoy the pictures and praise God for being so awesome!Book Review: Probably one of the best

But I am not so happy with the text inside. Information is well, but I am cofused about the times, hmm. Well, it doesnt match my timing of my pregnancy. But the pictures are great! I guess Lennard Nielson did the best pictures! So (just for the pictures) i would buy it again.
