Book Reviews of A Dangerous Fortune

Book Review: Excellent, well written book!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is definately an attention getting book. I really like Ken Follet's style of writing, especially in this book. I have found it very hard to put down. You will start reading it and then pretty soon you are caught up in the story and the problems that each charcater is having. It is just an excellent, well written book that I would recommend to anyone that likes interesting books.

Dangerous Fortune is highly recommened by this reader. The plot was tight and fast moving and it was fascinating to be in the world of Victorian England. Read this book, it is great entertainment.

Book Review: Follett Classic a great read for his Fans
Summary: 5 Stars

Written with typical style the characters are described and built so well you feel like you know them. Great story telling as always, plenty of drama, action and a little romance thrown in.

If your a fan or just looking for something new to read I recommend this book to you.

Book Review: Follett at His Best!
Summary: 5 Stars

The action never stops in this book. Anyone who loved Robert Grave's "I Claudius" will love this book. Both tales involve a mother (Livy in I Claudius) hungry for power for their sons. They stop at nothing to ruin those that stand in their way. In both novels we have the person who played by the rules to only get knocked down to the depths but ultimately triumph in the end.

This book gives a great feel for London in the late 1800's. Follett's descriptions are so detailed that we can virtually smell the London fog. The character development is also amazing. A great read overall!
