Book Review: Lovely book, but CD hard to follow
Summary: 4 Stars
My daughter came home from nursery singing this song, so I bought the book and whilst the book is great fun, the CD is harder to get to grips with! It is fine when it is telling the story, but time to turn pages is very short and we never seem to keep up. There is also just an instrumental, so you can sing yourself, but I can't seem to get the timing right for this either. The tune is catchy though!
However, if you discard the CD and just read the book it is great. Debbie Harters illustrations are colourful and vivid and it took us a few days to realise the dragon is in fact on every page.
A good one, but I would buy the book without the CD.
