Book Reviews of A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire)

Book Review: Absolutely fantastic
Summary: 5 Stars

Another amazing novel from GRRM, the new king of modern fantasy.

Book Review: Great Expectations
Summary: 5 Stars

I haven't read the book yet obviously as it hasn't been realeased but I fully expect it to deserve the 5 stars I have given it based on the previous books in the series and a number of preview chapters that I have read which maintain GRR's high standards so I have no fears for the book. I don't think I have ever awaited a book realease with such eager anticipation

Book Review: another masterpiece
Summary: 5 Stars

another piece of brilliantly twisted and dark writing from grrm.
all the charachters points of view are well written and you can really get into each ones mind.

Book Review: Could be better...
Summary: 4 Stars

In George Martin's own words, this is only half a book. Which is a shame. The main fantasy elements of the series occur in Jon and Dany's PoV chapters and both of those characters wont be appearing until the second half of this book is released (a Dance with Dragons). The 5 year wait for this book has left me slightly less enamoured with the series than I was in 2000, but this book is still great. The training of Arya and Sansa are both welcome parts of the book, as it gets away from the insane political intrigue happening in Kings landing. Anyone who was worried that the Cersei PoV chapter was going to try and paint a different picture of her can breathe easy, because there is no character reversal like her brother's. And thank God that Samwell got to keep his PoV as there is at least one sympathetic character in the book.

All in all a good book, but missing The Ice (Jon) and the Fire (Dany), so its not a great book. And worse still, it's missing the main comedy act (Tyrion).

Book Review: Had it a few hours and Im already half way through
Summary: 5 Stars

You saw it hear folks, once you pick this book up you will not put it down. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be disapointed and elated at the same time. This book is amazing and almost worht the 3 and a bit years we ahve had to wait for it.
