Book Reviews of A Field Guide to the Birds of Eastern and Central North America

Book Review: Very helpful!
Summary: 5 Stars

With homes on the Jersey shore and in middle Tennessee, we're fortunate to see various kinds of birds. The Peterson Field Guide was essential in helping us identify what was flying by or stopping to rest, spelled out by time of year, location, excellent written description of the birds, informative and clear illustrations and identifiable characteristics of songs and calls. We have a copy in both houses!

Book Review: Even better than before!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for a friend, but looked at it in a local store first. It's even better than the previous version. My friend loves it too! I have it on my Wishlist for next time.

Book Review: A FIELD GUIDE TO THE BIRDS OF EASTERN AND CENTRAL NOTRTH AMERICA
Summary: 5 Stars

THE BOOK IS A GOOD GENERAL PURPOSE FIELD GUIDE
A GOOD SIZE TO CARRY OR TO HAVE HANDY FOR A
QUICK REFERENCE.

Book Review: great book for bird watching -
Summary: 5 Stars

I find this book to be the most concise and user friendly book for identifying birds here on the East Coast. The detailed pictures make it easy to identify each bird by name. We were visited here in Maine by a small blue bird, the likes of which I have never seen in my years of birdwatching in New England, but easily recognized as an indigo bunting by using this book. A handy reference for any birdwatcher.

Book Review: Nice item-nice pictures
Summary: 4 Stars

This would be five stars if they had more of the local birds in it-otherwise it is very nice.Nice pictures.
