Book Review: Good book but I shouldn't order these things when I'm "tired"
Summary: 4 Stars
At least that's what I tell my students when i come to class a bit hung over, that Mr. hammockrider is "tired" or "under the weather" both of which are physiologically true staements.
Anyhoo, I thought this book was titled "Guide for using A Hatchet in the classroom". Now THAT would have been useful. Hatchets come in handy in many situations, especially in situations as varied as those found in the modern classroom.
But a BOOK?! These kids are all in Junior High, what am I gonna do with a BOOK!? Unless it's a book of matches these kids couldn't care less.
Well here's hoping that someday one of these ivory-tower eggheads in the Education Industry comes out with something the teacher in the trenches can use, like a manual on fry machine repair or a book on using flame throwers in the classroom.
