Book Review: A Must Read For Those Interested In The Deaf Community.

Being Deaf, I like to read everything I can get my hands on about the Deaf Culture and Community. This book was very welcomed into my home and, as I read it, I found that it is quite insightful for those who are not directly linked to the community. Covering a lot of information on growing up deaf (usually to hearing parents), it also goes on to give you an idea of things that the Deaf experience and must endure...things that most hearing people are unaware of.
If you are interested in being involved with the Deaf community, this book is a must read. However, anyone who reads this will not be disappointed.
