Book Reviews of A New IBS SolutionBook Review: Great advice if you have IBS, but are you really sure you have IBS? Summary: 5 Stars
For 19 years I suffered from what I thought was IBS. This book helped, but still I did not feel normal.
Finally after following a gluten free diet I feel normal again. So if you have IBS, then this book is a must read, but if you have not been tested for Celiac disease or have not tried a gluten free diet, you might want to try it. It could save you many years of trying to figure out what is wrong with your digestive system.
Book Review: Lessons about IBS Summary: 5 Stars
Demonstrates that wrong treatment has been used for complaints generally called IBS.

Book Review: Must Read! Only IBS Book that discusses SIBO in Detail Summary: 5 Stars
Having suffered from IBS for over 25 Years and having read dozens of other Books on the Topic it was such a pleasure to read Dr. Mark Pimentel's new Book, "A New IBS Solution".
What impressed me the most was that he understands that "IBS" is just a catch-all name that is given when all other "Tests" prove normal. He believes that the "Root Cause" of IBS isn't caused by "Stress" but by an Overgrowth of Bacteria in the Small Intestines( SIBO). This may account for up to 80% of all the people suffering from "IBS"
A New IBS Solution,is without doubt the most comprehensive Book available today that discusses SIBO, how to diagnose it, dietary factors for SIBO and most importantly how to treat it. The name of his Protocol is called, The Cedars-Sinai Medical Protocol. Which is one of the most respected Hospitals in the World!
For anyone who's tired of having "IBS" My advice would be to take a copy of Dr. Pimentel's Book to your Physician and ask him to take a few minutes during his lunch hour to read it!
In 7-10 Days after starting his protocol you may actually start to feel normal again!
Book Review: Not sure Summary: 3 Stars
The book is well-written, but I still have to find out how medically acceptable his theories are. And I ws disappointed to find that even if I follow his main plan and get rid of the IBS, I'd have to maintain pretty much the same diet I'm already on for the rest of my life. To me, this is not exactly a cure. However, the ideas he presents are interesting and in opposition to many views of IBS. Worth reading.
Book Review: Outstanding Summary: 5 Stars
There are several outstanding books on this subject, and I would suggest getting at least several if you have this medical problem.
