Book Review: A Question Of Honor - the Kosciusko Squadron
Summary: 5 Stars

For Christmas I gave "A Question of Honor - the Kosciusko Squadron" to my husband, an F-16 fighter pilot and avid student of WWII. Rarely have I seen him this moved by something he's read. It's a marvelously written, gut wrenching story that kept us from all other activities until we'd finished it. There isn't much we can do to change history, but we can at least honor the memory of these brave Polish airmen and soldiers by acknowledging (finally) that without their aid, the course of the war -- particularly the Battle of Britain -- may have gone in a very different direction. I had no idea the extent to which we are all very much in their debt.

Book Review: Wish my father and uncle were alive...
Summary: 5 Stars

Fantastic read! My father and my uncle were Polish officers when Hitler invaded Poland. They went through the very same trials and tribulations that this excellent book describes. Reading it was almost as good as listening to their after-dinner descriptions of the unbelievable sacrifices made by a great people. If they were still alive, they would buy copies of this book for all their children and grandchildren!

Book Review: OUTSTANDING !!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

A must read for all !!! I wasn't aware of the enormous contribution of the Poles during the Battle of Britain till I read this book. Now I understand why the Brits have a tremendous respect for the Polish people !!!

The authors are to be commended on their work of art. BRAVO !!!

Book Review: As someone else said, you'll never tell another Polish joke
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm buying my second copy, this one a gift for my Polish father-in-law. What an eye-opener, and what a good read-- heartbreaking, shocking, and inspiring all at the same time. Simply an amazing story on so many levels.

Book Review: A Question of Honor
Summary: 5 Stars

The story is heroic and very touching to have gone through so much, and not to be able to go home and not to be able to participate in the victory celebrations after the war must have been a bitter pill to take. After all the reason for WWII was the invasion of Poland.I highly recommend this book.
