Book Reviews of A Thin Dark Line

Book Review: Great Book
Summary: 5 Stars

I would have like to give it 4 1/2 stars. I thought it started a little slow but soon after that I couldn't put it down. It really was a great book. I had no idea who it was until near the end. It was the perfect "who done it". I think I will read it again now that I know who it was to see what little clues I may have missed.

Book Review: Great Book
Summary: 4 Stars

The book a thin dark line reveals that still there are many injustices in the system. When Annie Broussard finds herself swept into a mess due to the cause that she finds Nick Fourcade beating the life out of Marcus Renard and arrests Nick, but that proves to be a mistake when her fellow co-workers get mad at her for arresting a cop from their "brotherhood".
They make her life a living nightmare. Later on Nick and Annie end up falling in love. Marcus Renard begins with an obssesion for Annie. Soon things start happening to Annie:She finds a snake in her car, on the wall of her bedroom Annie finds a cat crucified.
Annie begins to wonder if Marcus Renard is doing this. He had Allegedly done this before to Pamela Bichon, the murder victim and the accused was:Marcus Renard. Annie finds herself teaming up with Fourcade to solve the mystery. If in fact Marcus had killed Pamela Bichon and if he had, will Annie's life be at stake. This is a question that was brought up in the book:When a sadistic act of violence leaves a woman dead..... When a tainted piece of evidence lets her killer walk...... HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO TO SEE JUSTICE DONE?

Book Review: Great Read
Summary: 4 Stars

This is the second book I've read of Miss Hoags. I thought it a little slow at first but it seemed to pick up somewhat in the middle Of course the ending floored me too !!! Enjoyed the french translations being I haven't studied it since high school Overall, pretty good. Couldn'tput it down towards the end.

Book Review: Great Reading, couldn't put it down
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the first time I have read anything written by Tami Hoag. It is a whodunit, that you will not figure out until right when the people in the story figure it out. I read it in 2 days, and being that it is 590 pages long, I couldn't put it down. Get it, read it, and lock your doors.

Book Review: Great mystery though somewhat too "cajun"
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my first title of Tami Hoag that I have read. I will be buying more. This is a great mystery, though somewhat too "cajun". I live in New Iberia which is at the heart of cajun territory. The characters could have come out of this area for the most part anyway. Great story and great way of telling the story. BUY IT!
