Book Reviews of A Town Like AliceBook Review: Fantastic Summary: 5 Stars
My mother-in-law bought it for me and I loved it. I read it in just 3 days, tearing myself away for meals. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, good fiction book. Loved that there was a heroin, romance, action, adventure, and entreprenuership. I'm 30 and loved it; my mother-in-law is in her 60's and loved it. Great for all adult ages.
Book Review: Fantastic Storyteller Summary: 5 Stars
Nevil Shute is a magician with the written word. Jean Paget is a true heroine, and somebody that I aspire to be some day. Joe Harman is the hunky Aussie cowboy. They are both heroes. This is a must read!!!! I guarantee you will love this book. It has all the essentials of a good story.
Book Review: Good read! Summary: 4 Stars
I loved this book. A real easy read and one you'll find hard to put down. My only one complaint is that the leading female character was a little "gushy" with too many "Oh Joe's" which irked me somewhat. The overall story is fantastic though.
Book Review: Great Book Summary: 5 Stars
Normally I would read the book first and then see the movie. In this case, I saw the movie first (the Australian movie) and just had to read the book. The book takes you through the horrors of Japanese occupation and internment and shows how love can help you resolute and resiliant. A great read and a must for your llibrary.
