Book Reviews of A Walk to Remember

Book Review: "A Walk to Remember
Summary: 1 Stars

"A Walk to Remember, is my favorite book. I have read it at least three times. You have all kinds of emotions when you read this book. First you will smile, then you will find yourself crying. It almost takes your breath away when you read about the love these two young people share.
Has you read this story, Nicholas Sparks makes you feel like you have know this couple all there lives. I highly recommed this book to anyone that loves romance. And that believes in fate.

Book Review: "Edge of your seat" type of book
Summary: 4 Stars

Summary~ This book is about a young teenage girl named Jamie Sullivan and a young teenage boy named Landon Carter. Landon is a boy who is rich and gets into trouble most of the time. Jamie is a sweet girl, whose father is the minister of their small town. Jamie is always doing the right thing, she volunteers at the Orphanage and reads the Bible during lunch time. You can say that she is the perfect daughter.
Landon asked Jamie to the Homecoming dance and she said she would go only if he does not fall in love with her. To find out why read A Walk to Remember.

What I thought about the book~ This book was a very good book. I enjoyed reading this book because this book is an "edge of your seat" type of book. You just want to read more and more, to find out what happens in the end to Jamie and Landon. In the first few chapters the book is dull and you can not get in the book. As you read on it gets better and better, you will not be able to put the book down.

Book Recommendations~ I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read love stories. This book is very sad also. So if you like sad, love stories this book is definitely for you. It is for teenagers because it has a higher vocabulary than a young child. Most girls would enjoy reading this book, because it has to do with a girl who struggles with a disease.

Book Review: "First you will smile, then you will cry"
Summary: 5 Stars

While reading the introduction, Mr. Sparks writes, "First you will smile, then you will cry. Don't say you weren't warned." I read that with the idea that the book was happy, then sad, but I never cry reading books, I'm just not that kind of person. But as i approached the end of the book (about three days into it), I found tears in my eyes. The story is sad, but yet the ending is happy. This was one of the best books I have ever read.

Book Review: "It was... In every way a walk to remember"
Summary: 5 Stars

There are few books that are as full of joy, sadness, and love as A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. This book relays the tale of seventeen-year-old Langdon Carter and the girl who drastically changes his life.
The story is set in Beaufort, North Carolina, "...where the humidity rose so high in the summer that walking out to get the mail made a person feel as if he needed a shower, and the kids walked around barefoot from April through October beneath trees draped in Spanish moss." Langdon narrates the tale about himself and Jamie Sullivan. Jamie is the ultimate "good girl." She rescues injured animals, raises money for the local orphanage, and, to top it all off, she's the preacher's daughter. Jamie's life is sheltered; she doesn't have a boyfriend, nor does she attend school dances. Langdon is somewhat of the reverse- he sneaks out of his house at night, and is viewed as "rebellious" because of it. When the lives of these two opposites entangle, it transforms them both in ways they never could've imagined.
Nicholas Sparks' vivid imagery makes this story unforgettable; this book is for the romantic in all of us. Sweet, yet tear-jerking, this will be the novel you pick up to read again and again.

Book Review: # 1 BOOK EVER
Summary: 5 Stars

I think that 'A Walk To Remember' is a really good book. If I had to judge it, I would give it 5 stars. Maybe even more if I could. The book is sad, but, good. I'm only fifth grader. That's an adult book in a way. I'd reommend this book to anyone. I liked the the book from the start. The sad part was when Jamie told Landon she had Leukimea. I liked the part when Jamie and Landon were in the play. Jamie had makeup and everything. I can't wait to see the movie.
