Book Reviews of A Walk to RememberBook Review: Awestruck Summary: 5 Stars
I'll tell you my instructions to read this book:
1) Find a day in your calendar when the only thing you'll have to do is read.
2) Find a cushy place where you can laugh and cry at will with-no-one to bother you - definitely not a plane or while travelling.
3) Make sure you have munchies and something to drink - a stiff one'd be better.
4) Keep your mind clear so you can concentrate in the story.
5) Start reading.
6) You won't be able to stop till you finish this book - it'll depend on your reading skills but I think no more than 5 hours will do.
This is the reason why I'm rating this book with more than SIX stars.
Book Review: Blechh Summary: 1 Stars
I hate these sappy tearjerking stories. Don't we have enough sadness in this world without adding more misery in the form of a book? When I read I want to be transported to a world of interesting and compelling situations. The story, although highly formulaic, was well written, and interesting and compelling, but for heaven's sake, the last thing I want is to be grieving and crying. YUCK! Can't stand Nicholas Sparks as an author. He is forever killing people or dogs that I have grown to love.
Book Review: Book...A Walk To Remember Summary: 5 Stars
Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors. A Walk To Remember is one of the best books he has written. It is not too long, so it is good for just cuddling up in a big overstuffed chair on a rainy day. It would also be an excellent book for a reading group because, unlike most books, it has questions for discussion by a group or to ponder on your own. This is a very good read and I would recommend it to anyone from teenagers to senior adults.

Book Review: Great Read Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the only times I would say a movie is better than the book. But if you haven't seen the movie yet this is a great book. I like to read the book after seeing the moving to read what the characters were thinking etc.
I enjoyed the differences of the book from the movie but I liked the ending in the movie better.
It's a great rainy day afternoon read.
