Summary: 5 Stars

Landon Carter is now 57 years old and he is telling his love story from when he was a senior in high school. He still remembers the events of something that he thought was just a friendship as if it was yesterday.

Jamie Sullivan was a minister's daughter, who wore boring brown sweaters every day, always tied her hair up in a bun, and always had her Bible with her. She is the girl that you would think of when you would imagine the person who gets made fun of in high school. She had never been on a date in her life, and Landon was one of the more popular boys in his high school.

Landon didn't have a date for homecoming, so he decided that he would ask Jamie because she was too sweet to say no and wouldn't have a date yet. When he asked, she said "promise me that you won't fall in love with me."

After a horrible night at homecoming, Jamie asked Landon to play the male lead in an upcoming Christmas play that was performed every year, and was a very big deal in the town. Landon didn't really want to, but Jamie talked him into it because she was playing the lead female and her father had written the play -- and Jamie wanted the play to be very special. After about two months of constant rehearsals, the play was performed and the town knew that this had been the best year ever. And Landon had to admit that it went well, and that he was falling in love with dorky Jamie. But there is a secret that Jamie was hiding from Landon. What could it possibly be? And why did she tell Landon not to fall in love with her?

This is another powerful love story from an author that makes you believe in love. Read this amazing novel to find out the secrets of Landon and Jamie.

Book Review: Life changing
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this book in order to get a batch order to a rounded figure.
Little did I know that it would have such an effect on me, that I would totally change my outlook on life? (I've even bought a bible)
Being young myself, the empathy I felt towards the characters made me feel I was in the book itself. Comparisons between Landon and most other naive teenagers are perfectly created, helping you really grow up along with him, though every single character is one you can relate to.
The text pulls at your heartstrings constantly with teasing romance, witty satire and total heartbreak.
This brilliantly written book had me in tears from about chapter 5 onwards, so have the tissues at the ready. I recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Book Review: a truly memorable read
Summary: 5 Stars

Nicholas Sparks has a knack for writing beautiful novels. This is definitely, in my opinion, his best yet. By the time I reached the 3rd or 4th chapter, I was hooked. I could not put it down. I'll admit, I didn't think I was in the mood for this type of story when I started reading it. I was wrong. It is the story of a teenager coming of age in the fifties. Yet, in many ways it could be the story of a teenager today. Teenagers always try to fit in with the crowd and please their peers. Also worth a look is The Fates by Tino Georgiou, a truly memorable read.

Book Review: A Walk To Remember..... The Best Book Ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

Ok we need TEN stars for this one, I also have the film. A story of two teenagers one from the "cool" gang at school and the other the daughter of a preacher, twists and turns of events they meet and the story goes on. I have not cried so much as with A Walk To Remember, get the book and get the movie. Quite simply Nicholas Sparks best book in my eyes!

Can any of us find a love like this? Can a book move you more than you ever imagined? Yes to both in this book you will find one of the most beautiful love stories you will ever read.
