Book Reviews of A Walk to RememberBook Review: Learn from this movie Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this movie.
The young man was man "enough" to NOT go along with the crowd!
Once finding out that getting to know someone who was an outcast by others who thought they were somehow better, ( HA! ) turned out to be a life changing ( for the better, I might add ) event for him.
A love like no other, and a wonderful, positive influence in his life forever.
Go out of your way to be friends with others who are treated badly, or who are considered geeks, freeks, or whatever the term today is for someone the "popular" consider unworthy of their friendship.
You may be quite pleasantly surprised! If you can't approach them, try just giving them a genuine smile. That will be good enough to get you started! And you will love yourself more for it, I promise!

Book Review: Lets put it this way..I read it in less than 48 hours Summary: 5 Stars
I was expecting to like this book no matter what because I loved the movie so much. I've heard nothing but great things about Nicholas Sparks as well, so I knew I was in for a good read. It was a lot more than a good read. This book changed the way I view life. I was in love with it after the first few pages. I literally could not put it down. I found 3 hours would go by and I wouldn't care at all. Sparks completely engrosses you in his characters Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan. He takes you through the journey of young and pure love. He makes you laugh and he makes you cry in the best ways possible. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy.
Book Review: Loved the book and the movie Summary: 5 Stars
When this book arrived I sat down and read it cover to cover in 4 hours. It had my attetion the whole time. It is different than the movie, but both stories are great. There are not enough stories on people with strong character. I will read it again, no doubt.
Book Review: Must Read!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book. Its a quick, fast read, but it has to be the most sweetest love story I've read yet! I highly recommend this book!
Book Review: NOT LIKE THE MOVIE, THOUGH A GREAT NOVEL Summary: 5 Stars
Hard to believe that after seeing three of Nicholas Sparks' movies this is the first book that I've read by him. This is also the first book that I've read AFTER seeing a movie. It's always been the other way around. I've never been interest in reading a book after seeing the movie. I mean, why would I?
That I'm a romance writer, and having two of his movies A WALK TO REMEMBER, and THE NOTEBOOK, on my list of all time favorite movies, I craved to read the written words. I aspire to write such novels one day. With that in mind, I set out to read A WALK TO REMEMBER and right after it, The Cliffsnotes.
The book was very good, so good I couldn't put it down. Into the second day of reading it I stayed up well past midnight to finish it. I even cried, though I had known the story well.
I was surprised at how different the book was from the movie...both in good and bad ways.
In the end, I would have to say that both the movie and the book stand alone. Both were brilliant, wonderful stories, each bringing something different to the final product.
I've just started the Cliffsnotes and can't wait to get a glimpse into how an author created such a masterpiece. I plan on reading THE NOTEBOOK as well. It will be interesting to see how different that novel is from the movie, as WALK TO REMEMBER was.
All in all, A WALK TO REMEMBER will remain to me an amazing story with characters that came alive and I believe will never leave me.
