Book Reviews of A Wrinkle in Time (Madeleine L'Engle's Time Quintet)

Book Review: A Mystical Journey
Summary: 4 Stars

From the moment I flipped the first page I was pulled into this amazing book. A Wrinkle in Time is a classic tale and an enjoyable book to read. Madeleine L'Engle has done a wonderful job writing this book. Its great writing style and intersting plot got me caught on early. A Wrinkle in Time also gave a whole new perspective on outer space and our Earth itself. The mention of a "tesseract" was a whole new idea, and was one more reason that this book is a great read. A Wrinkle in Time could be compared to Narnia or Zathura. They all had a great fantasy plot too. This books reading level isn't too high which makes it easier for younger kids to read and enjoy. Some parts may get complicated, but thats half the fun of reading it. The only down side the book would be the ending, but otherwise this book deserves the Newberry Award it got, 100%.

Book Review: A Winkle In Time Evaluated
Summary: 4 Stars

I didn't like the book.I think it is too loving, like a nursery rhyme. I don't want there to be killing and death but I like action. Harry Potter is always getting in trouble and solving mysteries; Indiana Jones is too. Even Donald Duck and Looney Toons have more excitement. This book is more like Superman compared to all of the X-men. But, I still like the battle with IT and the Dark Thing.

Book Review: A Wrinkle In Time
Summary: 5 Stars

A Wrinkle In Time is about a girl named Meg and her brother Charles Wallace that is very smart but doesn't talk to anyone at school. Everyone at school thinks that Charles and Meg are stupid.
There father is gone on a secret mission but hasn't retried back for a long time and the family is getting worried.

Until one day Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Whitest come to Meg's home and tesseract with Meg, Charles Wallace, and there friend Calvin who is very popular in school because of sports. Tesseract is where a person goes through time in the 5 dimension. Which means if a piece string is time, and is laid out is not the easiest putting the ends of the string next to each other and jumping over the gap is the easiest way to travel.

This book was interesting to me because it had some time traveling and was very exciting.

:) THIS BOOK WAS A GOOD BOOK FOR ALL AGES :)
