This has been one of my favorite books for a long time. One of the reasons I like it because it actually makes you think unlike alot of useless books out there. The imaginative picture it gives you is wonderful. If you like this book you should definately read the sequels "A Wind in the Door","A Swiftly Tilting Planet", and "Many Waters".Book Review: Great for science fiction!!!

I read this book because my mom pestered me until I finally read it. It was astounding. It left me hanging. Some people's rewiews said that it was "to hard" or "to long" I disagree. This book shows the struggles Meg Murry goes through too find her father. Science fiction is not usually my cup of of tea but when you read this book you forget that it's sceince fiction.
