Book Reviews of A Wrinkle in TimeBook Review: (...) Summary: 4 Stars
A Wrinkle in Time is a fantasy or science fiction book that takes place on a lot of different planets that don't exist and on planets that do exist. One of the planets that exist is Earth. One of the planets that don't exist is Camozatz. The characters in the story are Meg, Charles Wallace, Calvin, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit and Mr. Murray (Meg and Charles Wallace's father). Charles Wallace, Meg, and Calvin meet Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Whatsit and they show them how to wrinkle, and they show the different planets besides Earth in the Galaxy. They meet different creatures on different planets, some that help them and some that are bad. Meg and Charles Wallace's father is kept a prisoner on Camozotz. To help him escape they get help from Calvin, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Whatsit. Only Calvin goes with them though. To get their dad off of Camozatz they first have to escape from IT. Some bad things happen on Camozatz but if you want to learn more, you're going to have to read the end of the book.
I haven't finished A Wrinkle in Time but so far it is a very good book. I like Science Fiction books because they are interesting to read and you learn something from them. There is a lot of suspense at the end of every chapter which makes me want to read more of the book. The book also has a lot of details. I don't like that the book is sometimes confusing. There is a lot of science involved so I don't understand some of the words. But overall the book is very good. I would recommend this book to ages 10-13.
Book Review: *~ Don't bother ~* Summary: 2 Stars
A Wrinkle In Time wasn't the best book that I've read. And I wouldn't recommend it. Although I didn't like the book, some of the parts were a little good. The story is about a girl named Meg Murry who hasn't seen her father in 2 years. So her, her little brother (Charles Wallace), and a local boy named Calvin go and search for him. They spend most of their time on a planet called Camazotz. On the way there are many obstacles they have to go around. But some of the obstacles they get stuck in and have to make their way out. Overall I didn't really like the book.......but you might.
Book Review: 2nd Best Book Ever Summary: 5 Stars
In the book there are three main characters. The first one is a girl named Meg Murry. She doesn't have much self-esteem. She wears glass and every one thinks she's dumb. Calvin O'Keefe is a brave boy, who has freckles, and is Meg's boyfriend. Charles Wallace Murry is Meg's younger brother. He is short and is very smart even though people think he's stupid.
The story is about Meg, Calvin, and Charles going to save Meg and Charles' father on another planet named Camazotz. Three "creatures" named Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which help them. To get to that planet they had to tesser (traveling through space and time by "wrinkling" the space in between where you are to where you're going).
I really liked the story because it had a lot of suspense and mystery. I also enjoyed it because it was adventurous. I liked the character of Charles, especially the part in the book when he was mind-controlled by "IT". That was very creepy.

Book Review: 3 cheers for Mrs. Engle!!! Summary: 4 Stars
A Wrinkle in Time deifnitely ranks in my alltime favorite books list. The book was a joy to read. It was easy to tell the main message of the story which was that you should always stick together. This is shown many times in the story. I read this book last week and everytime I picked up the book I couldn't wait to read what happened. The only flaw in this book was the ending. It was very predictible and went by very fast. It was the climax of the story and I wish it was a little more descriptive and exciting. Overall don't let the ending get to you because it's not terrible I just think it could've been a little better. This is a must read book for anyone who wants to read an interesting book.
