Book Review: A Book Where Time and Space has No Meaning

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle features Meg Murry, a regular person who is not so bright in school. Her father, Mr. Murry, is the only one who understands Meg in terms of smarts. He has been missing for a long time now.
One day, Meg and her brother Charles Wallace meet Calvin. Later they meet Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which, who are mystical beings who help them know what to do and how to do it. The three tell them that to find their father is to "tesseract" or travel to the planet he is on. They find him on Camazotz, a planet ruled by IT. IT is pure evil and now holds Meg's dad hostage. To get her father back, she has to get past IT.
I would recommend this book to all, and especially to those who are sci-fi, fiction, or fantasy fans. I, for one, enjoyed reading and rereading this, and I usually am not such a big reader. So if I were you, I'd go and read this book. PR8

I read A Wrinkle in Time all in one night because it was full of excitement. It's about a girl named Meg Murry who was different from other people. Her brother, Charles Wallace, meets a lady, Mrs. Whatsit, who helps guide Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin on their journey to find Charles Wallace and Meg's father. The problem is, a thing called IT gets in their way and he even gets control of Charles Wallace! If this book seems to interest you, I hope you buy it and read it because it is one of my favorite books of all time. If you don't like fantasy or science fiction type books, you might not have an interest in A Wrinkle in Time. Other than that, this book is excellent and it could never be replaced, not even with the companions to a Wrinkle in Time!Book Review: A Book that Will Blow You Into The Fifth Demention

In the book by Madeleine L'Engle, Meg Murry is being battered nonstop. For example her father disappeared while experimenting with the fifth dimension, and she is being teased about her brother Charles Wallace. But when she meets Mrs. Whatsit her life changes forever! The next day Meg, Charles Wallace, Calvin (Meg's newly found friend) Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which embark on a dangerous mission to rescue Meg's father from the planet Camotz(cah-motes). But as soon as Mr. Murry is rescued someone else has to be saved. Meg's beloved Charles Wallace!
Although there were no pictures in this book, Madeleine L'Engle successfully created a pixar motion picture in you head. She really kept you on your feet and thinking, Almost so you are saying Charles Wallace was controlled by it, in the middle of class.
Although this book starts out kind of slow and wacky this book is well worth the time, and money! This book gets the five star award!

This is a super high interest story of Meg and her brother Charles Wallace and their search for their missing Father. They are assisted by 3 rather ecentric women and embark on an adventure filled search to outer space to encounter many challenging and interesting adventures. I recommend it most highly to upper elementary and secondary school students! written by Bob Townsen
