I am almost 60 and had never had an accounting class in High School or College. I just took a job in the banking business and had to get "up to speed" fast. This book was a lifesaver for a virgin in the accounting world. Easy references in down-to-earth language helps make this an excellent resource. It is never far from my desk.
Go slow and give it time to digest and this book will be an immeasureable help in your understanding of the mechanics of accounting and accounting methods.
