Summary: 3 Stars
I decided to read this book after reading a short story by the author. I was surprised to see that the story turned up as a chapter in the novel. Unfortunately, none of the other chapters lived up to its storytelling quality. There's too much brooding and repetition, and I didn't really enjoy the spread out timeline - it takes place over about 20 years. I imagine females would like this book more than males. That said, it's a quick read and is at times rewarding.
