Book Review: Classic Name but Classic Figures ?

I was attracted to these minis because of the name. As many "Old Timers" of D&D will remember there was a series of Old School modules that gave characters the chance to go head-to-head with Giants and their deeper plotting... I loved those modules and ran them multiple times. So, a new release of minis with the same name dragged up memories of time past.
I have quite a few of the other minis from previous sets and have been generally pleased with them and when I opened these boxes.... Well, wow ! I was very impressed. I must say that I have not yet got a giant but ended up with some great figures to go with the RPG. The Earth Titan looks amazing - huge and bulky and MUST be used on the table sometime soon. That is just one...The Treant looks great too and the Carrion Crawler, though not one of my favourites has a certain "Presence". The Golden Wyvern Initiate (Uncommon) is a very nice mini and will probably be grabbed as a PC. It was also nice to get an Eldarin Pyromancer and a Dragonborn in there. Another one that looked good, although probably not used much, is the Blazing Skeleton.
Just seen the next set is "Demonweb" ! Got my order in straight away and will be back for more packs of these too.
Nice one WIZARDS OF THE COAST ! Four Stars... Because I KNOW you can still do better :)
