This book is absolutely crammed with facts about blues singers, musicians, and bands, and also record labels and companies, from the totally obscure to the well known and world famous. For every performer who recorded, and is listed in the book, there is a detailed discography with reviews and helpful star ratings, also recommendations if you are considering your first purchase by a particular artist, and essential albums recommended for you to have in your collection. There are also interesting and informative essays on the many different types of blues music which includes useful and easy to read charts, and an index of artists is included. This book consists of over six hundred and fifty pages which will truly delight blues fans and will keep them informed and entertained for a long long time to come.
