Book Review: 4 Should be 3 but I like the author
Summary: 4 Stars
"Angelica" is a far less complicated tale than "The Egyptologist", whose fantastic prose and constantly twisting plot lines gave me high expectation of Phillips' latest novel. This is not a ghost story; more of a psychological mystery. It is interestingly presented in 4 points of view which offers the reader their choice of conclusion. There are hints as the story evolves from Constance's perspective to the increasing details provided from differing opinions and experiences. We are left to surmise just what did happen, then provided with altering facts. I liked this very much, and it would make a very good discussion book. Not too deep, but with substance.
