I usually devour Saray Mlynowski's books in a matter of days, but it took me several weeks to plod through this one. If not for a compulsion to finish any book I start reading, I probably would have set this one aside about mid-way through. It has a promising premise, but I felt the lead character just wasn't likeable enough, so I couldn't stick with her point of view as fame goes to her head. The author interrupts the story from time to time with an outside observer who watches Sunny's show, and I think the whole thing would have played better if the narrative wasn't in the first person.
