Book Review: And the killer is....
Summary: 4 Stars
This is the second book I read that was written by Tami Hoag. I loved both of them. The only thing that kept this from being a five star entry to me was the overly drawn out relationship between Kate Conlan and FBI guy John Quinn. I was willing to put up with most of it, but their romance or anti-romance did get tiresome after a while and you knew the two were going to get together in the end. You didn't have to be an FBI profiler to figure that one out. They both seemed to whallow in self pity way too long. As for the killer. Well, I had that one nailed early in the book. (a book of almost 600 pages). The clues were there and the killer seemed obvious to me. I couldn't see why the police couldn't figure it out. Then I found out why. Not only was I wrong, but my suspect just sort of vanished from sight and turned out to be just a minor character with issues on the side to be dealt with. Oops! My bad! Anyway, Tami Hoag seems to be very dependable. I will read more of her work for sure as you can count on a good story, well told and logical by this writer.
