YOU ONLY HEAR WHAT YOU ARE READY TO HEAR!!! Everyone will not get the same thing from reading these kinds of books says this author and that is so true because we are all at a different spiritual level no matter, at least we're on one. This book has Lots to open up your mind here and that's what reading is about to expand our consciouness. A must to read, I waited a long time to read any of the Hicks book but glad I gave in because I learned alot about the spiritual world and to let go and surrender to everything that is - It Just IS!!! Go with the flow of life and let go and enjoy the ride. It's all temporary stuff anyway. Life is a gift so enjoy it while your here. When life gets tuff go dancing!!!Book Review: Awesome Book!

Before The Secret, there was Ask and It Is Given. Someone gave this book to me at a time in my life when I was suffering from a serious illness. It reminded me that regardless of what is happening in my life, I can always connect with my innermost desires and trust the universe to work for me. The ideas and techniques in Ask and It is Given built upon my own personal framework called Option Method in a way that nothing else ever has. It gave me the extra help I needed to find the people who could save my life and I am eternally grateful to them and to Esther and Jerry Hicks.

Best explanation of how our emotions/energy work in manafesting our reality that I have ever read - and I've read much of what is out there. Although the same messages are woven again and again throughout all these materials - none explains it in such a clear manner AND gives methods to attain the ultimate goal of keeping your energy/vibration at one with your desire.
I have personally purchased it for everyone in my life seeking the same answers.
This excellent book now has a permanent home on my nightstand.

I consider this book a classic when it comes to explaining the law of attraction is a simple and practical way. This book is both inspirational and useful, especially the second half of the book which gives very simple and practical ways to tap into the power of attraction. It's also very much aligned with living on purpose which is one of the reasons I included a chapter in Life on Purpose: Six Passages to an Inspired Life. After all, clarifying your life purpose, while an important part of living a satisfying and fulfilling life, the real joy comes in designing your life to be a reflection of your life purpose.
That's where the law of attraction comes into play and where this book can be such a valuable adjunct to living a life on purpose. You'll also learn that the law of attraction isn't just about attracting more stuff into your life. It's really about attracting joy, wisdom, and fulfillment as well.
