Book Reviews of Atlas of Human Anatomy: With Netteranatomy.com (Netter Basic Science)Book Review: An invaluable aid and reference for medical education Summary: 5 StarsAs a Physician Assistant student Netter's anatomy is an invaluable aid in my education and a continual reference. I have used many reference anatomy books, but by far Netter is the most understandable and comparable to the real human body.
Book Review: The Gross Anatomy Standard Summary: 5 StarsNetter's is the ideal companion to the gross anatomy lab. There are numerous viewpoints presented through the drawings. Just about any situation you encounter in your cadaver is presented in Netter's with amazing clarity. Be sure to consider the accompanying CD-ROM Atlas. It has a custom test feature that is a great study aid for practical exams.
Book Review: The pathfinder in human anatomy. Summary: 5 StarsAnybody who studies human anatomy without sir Netter's piece is definitely navigating without a compass.I term it my bible in the medical school ,for truly ,it has always been,it is and shall always be my headlamp in my drive through the human body.
Book Review: Netters: Best Medical Atlas Summary: 5 StarsI own all the medical atlases: Grant's, Netter's, McMinns and the rest. Grant only labelled every other structure, and McMinns was good for disection only.Of the lot, Netters beautiful and detailed paintings blow every other atlas out of the water. I own the paperback version, but I wish I would have bought the hardcover, only because I have used the Netter's so much, that the soft cover is starting to fray. Buy a Netter 2nd ed., put it next to your Gray's Anatomy 38th ed., and get set to soar to the top of your anatomy class.
Book Review: ABSOLUTELY OTSTANDING Summary: 5 StarsI had to find an atlas of anatomy for my human anatomy class. After using several books available for use in the lab, I decided to purchase Netter's. This book comes in handy everyday that I study. I find things that others cannot locate in their atlas. This book leaves NOTHING out. It has superior pictures and precise labeling. I would suggest this book to ANY anatomy student.
