Book Review: Best Atlas of Human Anatomy Available

As a surgeon, I know that precise and thorough anatomical knowledge is very important to the operations physicians perform. Having sampled most of the atlases available over the years, I can confidently say that Netter's is easily the best. I still refer to it from time to time to aid my work. I wish it had been around when I was a medical student taking gross anatomy. It would have made a difference in my understanding and test scores. This masterpiece is definitely worth buying.Book Review: THE BEST

I'm a 3rd year medical student, this atlas is the best you can imagine to illustrate, in a clear and real way, the human anatomy. It is essential complement for the anatomy textbooks, it helps you picture in your mind what you are reading. I am a first year medical student in singapore and using Netter's Atlas of Human Anatomy helps me to visualise the human body, which i find difficult to do by just reading the textbooks on anatomy. Frank Netter achieved the nearly impossible during his lifetime as a medical illustrator and physician. He managed to clearly illustrate the human anatomy, highlighting the key features of each area, while still maintaining a 'realistic' look to his works. When your physician visualizes your anatomy in his/her mind, it is Netter's work being seen. Ask any doc - no one else even comes close. 'Looking it up in Netter' is the solution for every student of medicine, from the first year of medical school to the 5th decade of surgery. Uma obra-prima. O n?vel de did?tica alcan?ada pelo Netter nesse livro ? excitante. Nada justifica mais o ditado que uma figura vale mais que mil palavras.
Ali?s, recomendo n?o s? esse altas de anatomia, mas tamb?m os outros livros do Netter da CIBA Collection of Medical Illustrations, que tamb?m s?o uma loucura.
Enfim, as ilustra??es desse autor-m?dico em todas suas obras s?o ?culos indescrit?veis para qualquer estudante de medicina.
