This atlas has excellent, colorful drawings showing the anatomy of the human body. It includes the same region from different angles and perspectives. It is organized by system and region and has an excellent index in the back. It is a MUST when studying Anatomy and Physiology and can accompany many Physiology texts.Book Review: great book

This book was recommended (not required) by the instructor of an online Applied Anatomy and Biomechanics class. I struggled without for 2 weeks and then finally broke down and bought it. What a good decision!! This book is great. It has very detailed easy to read picutres of bones, muscles, nerves, etc. For anyone taking a class or just interested in anatomy, it is a must.Book Review: Nice Work!

If you are looking to SUPPLEMENT your anatomy text, this is the book for you. The illustrations are clear and very easy to understand. There is very little verbiage on the systems or structures making it almost impossible to pass Gross Anatomy with this book alone. There are a lot of alternative anatomy atlas' on the market, but you wont go wrong with this one!
