Book Reviews of Audition: A Memoir

Book Review: Audition
Summary: 5 Stars

I am surprised at how down to earth Barbara Walters is. It is an easy read book.

Book Review: Audition
Summary: 5 Stars

Great reading. What a wonderful life Barbara Walters has lived. I would recommend this book as a great beach read for the summer,or any time.

Book Review: Audition
Summary: 3 Stars

I am a Walters fan, but I was disappointed in her memoir. I found it to be too long for the content she had to offer. It was a little repetitive and full of false humility. Don't think I would recommend it to my friends as a book I couldn't put down. In fact I found myself skipping some of the pages because it all sounded the same.

Book Review: Audition
Summary: 5 Stars

I've read two-thirds of Audition, and did a 180 degree turn in my opinion of Ms. Walters. Her life as a young girl echoes much of mine, with the exception of the financial security. Perhaps it was the time of "children are to be seen, not heard," that made her into a strong and sincere person dealing with her contacts. It was a time when we all had more empathy toward one another, and the "really big show people" having come from the bottom, were "really" big! Great life story! I'd recommend it any day.

Book Review: Audition
Summary: 5 Stars

I have just started reading this book. So far I'm really enjoying it. I must say the I have always loved Barbara Walters. I watch the View everyday and so enjoy the listening to the Ladies more so now than ever before. Barbara You are the leader of the Pack.
