Book Review: videos better for this, I think
Summary: 2 Stars

This tiny book is compact and a neat little preface to any serious learning. There are several signs, but only a few of them for every day. A lot of signs are for animals and things--which are cute, but I wanted to teach more for every day communication/needs. Also, the pictures for the signs are pretty good, but there are a few that I would wonder if I'm doing correctly by the arrows--that's why I think a video might be better.

Book Review: Great Intro to baby signing
Summary: 4 Stars

This book was great to answer my basic questions...When to start? What signing will do for me and my daughter? It also has a good beginning dictionary. I will be getting another book to learn more signs but this one was a great start.

Book Review: I love this book
Summary: 5 Stars

It's small enough to stick in your diaper bag. Good starter book for parents. I put it top of my reading list for my workshops on baby sign language. Fun and easy read.

Book Review: Not to fond of this book.
Summary: 1 Stars

I ordered this with the thought it would be more helpful to me in teaching Shelby sign language. But it really disappointed me. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Book Review: 3.5 stars
Summary: 4 Stars

The book is not bad. Aside from its irratating size (4.25 inches square, 1 inch thick - with glue rather than spiral binding which means it falls a part easily), it's a pretty decent book for a beginning. The signs are very well illustrated. My problem is that if you're going to only have 60 signs, at least have a few more useful ones. I personally do not see the need for all the animal signs (about 20% of all the signs in the book). Having said that, it's a good introduction to baby sign language.
