Book Review: 0 stars would be a better option- disgusting!

Talk about living life by a clock! This book is NOT for first time parents or ANY parent for that matter. The whole idea of sticking your child in a room to scream until they pass out is disgusting enough not to mention the abuse of not feeding a baby when they're hungry. It is beyond my comprehension how someone could carry a child for 9 months in their body and nourish them daily then once the child is out demand that the child act in an unnatural way of living by the parents' clock and convenience. These methods are unproven, irrational, and in extreme cases have lead to harm of children physically (not to mention the emotional suffering a child must have from their own mother locking them away to cry and withholding food from their fragile little bodies).
As far as this so-called 'expert research' that PDF children are happier (which I really can't fathom- how do YOU feel when YOU are hungry?) and less likely to be ADHD- that's just plain bad research. There are studies that say if you raise your arms above your head you're more likely to miscarry. There are crazy studies out there for everything- if you survey in my family 10 of 10 people would tell you that AP parenting is what is best for a child. In fact I've read several studies that have found that children that co-sleep are less likely to die of SIDS and more likely to be well-adjusted, self-assured and independent individuals.
Common sense and natural parenting instinct should scream to you that this book and its premises are wrong, selfish and destructive.
