Book Review: His best yet, but ...

Yes, the back-of-jacket blurb is right, this is the best Reacher novel to date. But Reacher must be getting old as the plotline is visible from space, yet the Army's finest miss it for a very long time. Nonetheless Reacher fans will not be disappointed as he slaps a few guys around, makes love to a beautiful woman, and ultimately triumphs(but then you knew that he would, didn't you???). The research and detail is great and written to Lee Child's usual high standards. Not as formulaic as his last Reacher novel but not as sharp as his earlier work.
