Book Reviews of Barnyard Dance! (Boynton on Board)

Book Review: Great Book! Lots of Fun!!
Summary: 5 Stars

My family and I are HUGE fans of Boynton books. We bought Snuggle Puppy when our first daughter was born and have been adding to our collection since then. We recently purchased Barnyard Dance and it has become our oldest daughters favorite book. She is 2 and just loves it. Our youngest daughter is 10 months and just laughs when she watches my husband and 2 year old dance as I read the book. They love moving around and dancing. Just a great book for family fun!!!

Book Review: A children's book to dance to!
Summary: 5 Stars

If you've ever enjoyed square dancing (or at least the cadence of the words/music) you'll love this childhood adaptation.
Rhyming is excellent, pictures are hilarious, wording is cute.

As others have mentioned, it is enjoyable to read as a parent so you don't tire of it when your child asks for you to read it for the hundredth time!

Absolutely a must have book for those with active toddlers!

Book Review: yeah!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is our absolute favorite. We've been reading (and singing and dancing) at least once per every for months. And I'm not tired of it yet :)

Book Review: Fun book!!
Summary: 4 Stars

This book is a lot of fun to read!! We make it a song and my kids love it!!

Book Review: So much fun
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one of my son's favorite books. We have almost all the Boynton books, and the thing I love about this one is the language. The words just roll off your tongue and sound musical, even when you're not singing. My son isn't talking yet but he seems to get the "jokes" in the book, and always laughs at certain parts ("leap with the frog", and "twirl with the cow in a patch of clover" seem to tickle him, for some reason).

I like the Boynton books in general because unlike a lot of the board books out there, her books are just plain fun. They're not trying to teach the kids too many lessons about letters and numbers, and I think that's appropriate for this age. They're going to have plenty of time to learn about numbers later on. At this age for us it's just about having fun and learning to like books and think reading is cool - which is exactly what this book does. 5 stars!
