Book Review: Poor and uninformative

This book was a real disappointment. It is litte more than a promotional booklet for sit on top manufacturers, with endless paragraphs on why the sit on top is perfect for this that and the other. The advice, while accurate, is applicable to all types of paddling and is better presented in other books. There is very little sit on top specific advice and that which there is is little more than common sense. Little gems along the lines of "if you capsize a sit on top, your equipment will fall off" abound.
Go and buy a more general canoe/kayak manual and work the rest out for yourself.
