Book Review: the best so far
Summary: 5 Stars

The Battle Roayle mangas are superb pieces of art and storytelling, and so far I own the five available. I do of course intend to buy the next ones in the series when they come out as well, but this is by far the best of the series yet, so this is the one I choose to review.

The illustration of this manga is incredible. The entire thing is very realistic, specifically the violence. Without ruining the plot of the second part, it does reveal insights into Kazuo's character, as well as deepening the story of Shuuya and Noriko. But the character most lovable here is Mitsuru, the poor schmuck. Ever trusting, ever loyal, and quite sad in a way. As he says:

"Last minute revelations suck..."

you feel what he feels. The book carries with it a lot of emotion. I would recommend it to any fan of the film or any manga collector. Buy the entire series.
