As an instructor for Christian Counselors, I find the Battlefield of the Mind to be an excellent book for my students. Understanding the significance of the mind's battlefield is easily and spiritually defined by Joyce Meyers. I would recommend her book to anyone looking for a greater understanding of the spiritual aspect of the mind.Book Review: Great for individual or as a book club/study

I read this book myself and couldn't help but pass it along to as many people as I could. It is a great alternative to new age spirituality that is so prevelant these days. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to Oprah's book club and thinking that "A New Earth" is new information :) It's grounded and practical and makes a lot of common sense.Book Review: Well organized and easy reading

Ever since i started reading Battlefield of the Mind, it has absolutely changed my life in just the short few weeks I've been reading it. I HIGHLY recommend this book. I even bought 3 more copies to give to a couple of my friends - men and woman.
It made me realize that Satan had a hold on my thoughts and on my life. I was actually appalled that I allowed him to get his talons in so deep. I wasn't even aware of it.
Joyce Meyer writes in a way that even people who have trouble understanding what they've read (and have to read it over and over again to understand it) will have NO problem understanding what's being taught. She covers so many topics but takes you step by step through the process in order to learn how to discipline your mind so that Satan will no longer have control over you!
If you're at a point in your walk with the Lord where you are saying "God isn't listening to me, I've been praying and praying and praying and I don't know what He wants me to do (or the situation in my life has not changed), READ THIS BOOK!
I have had this book on my book shelf for 2 years. I read the back cover and thought, eh, I don't suffer from anything that was listed on the back. But yet my life has been "miserable" for over 2 years now. Out of desparation, I decided to read a few pages to see what this book was about. I was immediately hooked and it has absolutely changed my life!
In addition to reading this book and disciplining myself to read my bible daily and making sure i spend ample quality time talking to God, He has been giving me revelation after revelation through scriptures and devotionals and has set me free from the bondage that Satan had on my life. And I'm only half way through the book! It has brought me closer to the Lord! Closer than i've been in many years!
If you're ready for a whole new change of life. A whole new mind set, read this book! And be prepared for the most incredible life changing journey! Then recommend it to every other person in your life so they can be transformed spiritually as well!
