Book Reviews of Be More Chill

Book Review: Cant Be More Funny
Summary: 5 Stars

Its a quick read, which isnt a good thing, because you'll want this book to keep going. Yup, you can totally relate to the character but still laugh when he messes up. 5 stars!

Book Review: Be more Chill... wow
Summary: 3 Stars

'Be More Chill' by Ned VIzzini is a book that covers all aspects of growing up. Here's the story: Jeremy Heere is your typical sex-obsessed teenager who is deperate to be cool and impress girls. Nothing seems to work until his friend tells him to get a squip, and with a little bit of help from the voice of Keanu Reeves (there's a perk for the girls!) he scores!
Ned Vizzini perfectly captures exactly how it feels to be growing up today, and despite the narrator being a boy, the book appeals to all sexes of all ages and no doubt will remind us all of a situation we've been in.
In short: One to read

Note: I would only reccomend this book to readers over the age of sixteen, ot younger more mature readers as it has some sexual content

Book Review: Be More Chill Review
Summary: 4 Stars

'Be More Chill' by Ned Vizzini is a completly different book to the type I would normally choose to read. It is about an uncool teenager, Jeremy who is desperate to become more popular, he is so desperate he steals from his aunt, in order to pay for a piece of technology which would make him cool! He manages to be seen as 'cool' by other people and even Christine the girl he fancys notices him! How does he become cool? A Squip! After purchasing the squip, the book becomes much funnier, and interesting than previously in the book. The little computer inside his head, the squip which talks to him, tells him what to say, and even gets him into trouble by telling him to drive his mums car and do other crazy things. I'd recommend this book to anyone over 13, because of the amount of swearing and detail into certain issues contained in the book. It is overall quite good book, I didn't think i'd enjoy it much as the main character is a boy, but I thought the book was very cleverly written and quite interesting! I rate this book 7/10

Book Review: No sophmore slump here
Summary: 5 Stars

When I bought this book I was prepared to enter the world of the main character Jeremy... what I found was that it brings the reader not into the world of the characters but also into the world of hidden technologies and humorous situations. A completly different genre of writing from his first book (a memoir), this was an amazing first fiction book for Ned. Written well, Ned manages to balance humnan interaction and technology interaction perfectly leaving the reader with all the information they need without rambling or overwhelming the reader with quick plots.

Book Review: Be MoreChill
Summary: 5 Stars

I personally think that Ned Vizzini's novel, BE MORE CHILL. was a reflection on teenage society life as we know it. The truth of the matter is for all you teenagers who have no life and like to walk around in a cloud of ignorance that drugs, underage drinking, and pre-martial sex do happen in highschool. High School is tough and challenging. Ned is a fantastic writer. Who is supported 100% by his fans. The book is terrific. I recommend anybody to go buy it and read it right now...by the way...Squip? google it.
