Book Review: The iconic Beau Brummel
Summary: 4 Stars
Beau Brummel is one of those people who most people have heard of but know
little about. This is about as detailed account of the man as one
could hope for. It is a bit sketchy of his years in England due to a lack
of documentation but really picks up during his years of exile in France.
You really get mixed feelings reading about him. Thinking he had no one
to to blame but himself for his troubled later life and yet having great
sympathy for him and admiration for the way he handled his tribulations.
A very satisfying book.
