I borrowed this book from a friend, and I loved it! Judge Judy's book was a quick and easy read, but it was very informative. It was full of Judy's no-nonsense advice that I think that a lot of women (especially teenagers) should take heed of. Think of this book as the advice your mother should have given you. I also loved Judge Judy's funny stories about her life with her husband. This a book that every woman will enjoy reading.Book Review: A great read for women of all ages

I am not a regular viewer of Judge Judy's show. When I do watch it, I am drawn to her straightforwardness and common sense. When I read this book it seemed as if she was speaking straight to my heart. It was like a friendly chat with a someone who has seen it all.
It's obvious that her experiences as a daughter, wife and working mother has informed her life and her work. The main idea of this book in a nutshell is to learn and live life to the best of your ability and enjoy the moment as nothing, good or bad, lasts forever.
