Book Reviews of Become a Better You: 7 Keys to Improving Your Life Every DayBook Review: bwtter you Summary: 5 StarsSo far the book offers some insights and changes in lifestyle that may help me.
Book Review: Short on Content Summary: 1 StarsThis book could have been 25 pages long as it repeats itself over and over after this. Joel's lack of seminary training and real bible study shows in this book. It's a prosperity message based on "just think positive" without biblical source material to handle really tough times.
Book Review: I like it. Summary: 4 StarsI like this guy. I like the book. It is basically much like his sermons. So don't expect any new ground breaking stuff. If you want more challenging theology, try the Pope's book. He uses bigger words, longer sentences, and dosen't have the cute wife. They say the Pope used to be called the Rotweiler of the Vatican. I'll bet Victoria is the Rotweiler of Lakewood.
Book Review: The Right Message! Summary: 5 StarsJoel's book sends the right message. To me, it seemed to have a pretty strong Christian base, however, the encouragement and guidance he gives is universal. You should feel more motivated to move your life in a strong way towards success, peace and happiness. Jim Fargiano, author of The Spoken Words of Spirit: Lessons From The Other Side
Book Review: Fabulous! Summary: 5 StarsVery inspirational. I listened to these cd's while commuting to work and was amazed at how focused I remained on the lessons. The lessons are witty, thoughtful and well organized. I found myself deep in thought after each listening and sometimes laughing out loud. Well worth the purchase with a cross-denominational appeal.
