Book Review: Superb reading
Summary: 5 Stars
A trilogy in one volume pre-to-post war Germany at its best. Philip Kerr captures the German mentality and shows that many things haven't changed! Nice references to other events (he's obviously a "Third Man" fan) and a wonderful example of "noir" mystery without slipping into the over-the-top cynicism of American authors. I enjoyed all three novels and hope that he'll return to this period for a future book.
