Tommy Sheffield helps document the history of more than 30 of rodeo's top rodeo clowns and bullfighters. Today they prefer terms life cowboy protectors, but this book tells the story when they were clowns and bullfighters who had to entertain the crowd and make them laugh, while saving the bull riders from rampaging bulls. Many of the name's in this book are all but forgotten in rodeo, so Sheffield has provided a service to the men and the sport by keeping their memories alive. One of the best features in the book are dozens of photgraphs that also help document the history and the men.
